Rest

I am so tired.

My body aches,

And my eyes sting.

The weight of the world on my shoulders,

Pushing me down and pulling me back.

All I want is to rest.

To lie down and feel my body shudder with relief.

To no longer ache and finally be at peace.

Maybe one day I will be free,

But for now I must move on,

Never having enough sleep,

And always in pain as I continue forward.

I am so tired.

All I want is to rest.
